Day1
Arrival in Beijing
Be met at the arrival hall of the airport by our tour guide and transferred back to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.
You will receive a Free CH cell phone package including free rental for the cell phone and SIM card and at least 30 free minutes, delivery and collection in China.

Beijing
Attractions:Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Hutong Tour in Xicheng District
Hop on a rickshaw in Hutong area
This morning, you will visit Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world. The Forbidden City is just across the street. The Forbidden City is the palace which was home to 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Lunch is at a great local restaurant.
In the afternoon, hop on a rickshaw and ride through the Hutong alleys. A local family visit is included in the Hutong tour.

Day3
Beijing
Attractions:The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), Temple of Heaven
Temple of Heaven
Today we will drive 2 hours to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall is a less-crowded section with a cable car to take most of the hard work out of your visit. Mutianyu section has superb views over the forest. Lunch is at Xinshuangquan restaurant which serves local farmhouse style dishes. A visit to Shahe Cloisonne Factory is included.
After lunch, we drive back to the city and visit the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is the place where emperors worshiped God and pray for a good harvest. The main attractions in the Temple of Heaven: The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, The Circular Mound Altar and the Echo Wall.
Dinner will go to the famous Quanjude Restaurant to try Peiking Duck.

Day4
Beijing to Chongqing
Attractions:Goose Neck Park, Ciqikou Old Town, Light Rail Transit Experience, Chongqing Eling Park Three Gorges Museum
Ciqikou Ancient Town
Bid farewell to Beijing and fly to Chongqing. The tour guide in Chongqing will pick you up at the airport and commence a half day Chongqing tour. First stop is Goose Neck Park where locals spend their spare time playing Mahjongg, singing, dancing or just relaxing. Next to Ciqikou old town where you will see the life style of the local who still live in the old wooden houses on narrow streets . Lunch is at a great local restaurant.
After lunch, take the light rail to see the Jialing River and natural scenery of Chongqing.
Then transfer to the cruise pier to board the ship to start your cruise trip.

Day5
Yangtze Cruise
Attractions:Shore excursion to Shibaozhai(14;00-16;00).Optinal tour to Fengdu Ghost City(RMB260 per person)
Panda in Chongqing Zoo
After breakfast, the guide on ship will give you a brief introduction of the cruise and the schedule. Then the ship will disembark at Fengdu Ghost City which is the first shore excursion of a downstream cruise. Fengdu Ghost City has a unique history and culture of ghosts and the afterlife besides natural beauty and historical relics. Captain’s welcome party will be held tonight.

Yangtze Cruise
Attractions:Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm), Crew's Performance

The highlight of a Yangtze River cruise is today. The ship will pass through the first gorge - Qutang Gorge and the second gorge - dramatic Wu Gorge. Qutang Gorge is the shortest, but the most spectacular of the Three Gorges while Wu Gorge is zigzags and is famous for its depth, serenity.
In the afternoon, disembark for the shore excursion to Shennong Stream. Get on a small boat and sail through the beautiful Shennong Stream which is known for lush pine cliffs and translucent water.

Day7
Yangtze Cruise
Attractions:Three Gorges Dam Site

The final shore excursion is to the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydropower project. The Three Gorges Dam includes three main parts: the dam body, the hydropower stations and the navigation facility.
Disembark in Yichang in the afternoon. Our guide will pick you up at the pier and transfer you to Yichang airport for the flight to Shanghai. Our local guide in Shanghai will meet your at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

What is the best time to take this tour?
This tour is suitable for travel all year round, May, September and October are the peak tourist months at China's most popular destinations when the weather is comparatively comfortable, but prices are higher, and everywhere is more crowded. Prices drop a bit in the shoulder season, which runs from late March through April and from June through August.
