Huangshan Nightlife
Entertainment in Huangshan is relatively limited considering its mountainous geography. But in the Huangshan City, a city 70 KM from the mountain area is home to teahouses and opera houses.
Tea House
Huangshan city is a well-known tea producing area in China. Having tea is an essential part of people's daily life. So going to a tea house must be an important component of your visit. It's a welcoming oasis where one's aching muscles may get a bit of well-deserved rest, and where one's spirits may be rejuvenated over a hot cup of tea.
Yilin Ge Tea House
A cultural site decorated in simple but elegant style which offer offers performances of the tea ceremony, Huangmei Opera and Hui Opera.

Huangshan Ziteng Tea House
This tea house is reputed to be one of the best tea houses in Anhui Province.

Huangshan Tianzhu Tea House
Tianzhu Tea house combine a tea house, restaurant, hotel, sauna and karaoke. It is a landscape style construction which has a zigzag bridge, fountain, carved beams and painted rafters.

Opera
The Hui Opera from the Huangshan area is one of the oldest and most respected opera styles in China and is for more than 300 years. It is the predecessor of Beijing Opera. Huangmei Opera is another popular operas in the Huangshan area.
The tune is pleasant and catchy. It has many well-known plays, such as “Female Consort Prince (Nv Fu Ma)”, “Goddess Marriage (Tian Xian Pei)”, etc.
Xiangming Grand Theater in Huangshan

Xiangming Grand Theater was completed in two years (from 2008 to 2009). It was built with a budget of $10.52 million and has a capacity of 1,522 seats, including 22 VIP seats.
The performances feature magnificent staging and special lighting effects using lasers lamp, an artificial rain curtain and a fog system.
An 80 minute musical drama is performed each evening at 8pm. A reservation is necessary.
