We thoroughly enjoyed our entire trip. Victor, our guide in Zhangjiajie, went above and beyond to take great care of us. The itinerary covered everything we needed to see and should see. Both the included and the optional Yangtze shore excursions are highly recommended and we were glad to be in the smaller groups rather than with the large Chinese groups. Zhangjiajie was the highlight of the trip with stunning scenery; even with the crowds and hot weather, it was worth all the effort to get there. Victor adjusted the itinerary to minimize wait times, crowds and uphill walking. We were fortunate that there were overcast skies and some drizzle which kept the temperature down.
