Day by Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1 > Guilin Arrival

Our guide will meet you with outside the customs of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport and then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and explore.

Dinner is not included. Our guide will give you suggestions for walk around.

Day 2 > Cruise down on the world’s Great Wonders of Li River, immerse in the karst jaggle peaks and rural countryside views.

Start your memorable Guilin tour by taking a Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The 83-kilometer-long (52-mile-long) winding Li River reveals itself as a long picture scroll with stunning scenery around every corner.

The cruise arrives at the terminal in Yangshuo after lunch and you have the change to explore Yangshuo countryside scenery by car (approx 1 1/2 hours), where will leave you a great impaction from Chinese real farming life. Then return to Guilin by our private car.

2. The boat stop at Longtou wharf in Yangshuo, which is 2km(1.2mile) away from the downtown center of West Street, so we includes golf cart-like vehicle transfers to your hotel.

Day 3 > Included must-see sites of Guilin, landmark –Elephant Trunk Hill, stalagmite and stalactite inside Reed Flute Cave. Airport Transfer (Guilin), Airport Transfer (Chongqing)

Today, you will first visit the symbol of Guilin city – Elephant Trunk Hill which is a huge rock which looks like an elephant drinking water at the riverside. Then we transfer to Folded Brocade Hill which is famous for its smooth path for climbing and beautiful view of Li River. Lunch is at a great local restaurant. The Reed Flute Cave is a highlight of the tour today. Reed Flute Cave boasts many Karst formations in the shape of stone columns, stalactites and stalagmites with each presents unique shapes enhanced by colored lights. Then transfer to the airport to board on the flight to Chongqing, where your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 4 > Get up close to the Chinese live fossil –panda in Chongqing Zoo, board the ship between 6pm-8pm on Chaotianmen Port

Activities: Goose Neck Park, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo, Ciqikou Old Town, Cruise pier Transfer (Chongqing), Board the ship from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 9:00pm.(Dinner is not included)

Today is a full day city tour of Chongqing to visit the Panda Room at Chongqing Zoo to see the giant pandas and the baby pandas. Then visit a local park - Goose Neck Park where locals spend their spare time playing mahjong, cards or singing and dancing. Lunch is at a great local restaurant.

In the afternoon, experience Chongqing old lifestyle by visiting Ciqikou Old Town which is an ancient village with many teashops, outlets for craftwork and groceries. It is the Ming and Qing dynasty style street.

Then our guide will transfer you to the cruise pier at between 6pm-8pm to board the ship. The cruise leaves for Yichang at 9pm.

Trip Notes:

1. You will pack up your language in the morning and leave in your hotel or in the van, check-in your cruise after the tour and bring all your stuff onboard.
2. Dinner is not included, we suggest finishing your dinner or buying some snacks before board on the ship.

Day 5 > Docked at Fengdu Ghost City in the morning (optional tour) and Shibaozhai Pagoda in the afternoon for shore excursions.

Trip Notes:

1. You may expect to walk up 12-story pagoda in Shibaozhai that rises beside the rock, comfortable shoes are recommended for the tour.
2. Optional Fengdu Ghost City is a walking shore excursion. There will be many stairs and inclines, including approximately 100 steps from the dock to the point waiting electric shuttle bus, after the shore ride, then 400 approximately steps to the temple.
3. A formal dress is recommended to wear on Captain’s welcome reception.
4. Due to security and safety consideration, passengers do not on the tour, are not allowed to go ashore.

Day 6 > Docked at The White Emperor City (optional tour) in the morning and take a small sampan boat to Shennong Stream in the afternoon, the ship entry into the dam lock at 10pm.

Day 7 > Arrive in Yichang at 1:30PM, pick up at the Yichang port by your gudie and take a private van to Yichang Airport.

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site after breakfast. Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction has been completed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.

Arrive in Yichang at 1:30PM. Private transfer to Yichang Sanxia Airport for catches your onward flight.
