Shanghai Arrival

The first day is predicted for arrival and settling in to the Shanghai. No other activities are predicted.

The Shanghai World Financial Center

The Shanghai World Financial Center

The tour starts with the visit to Yuyuan Garden. This place is quite lively and you can find all sorts of snacks and souvenirs there. Also, it is surrounded with interesting buildings and there is also a small reconstructed temple dedicated to the city gods. After that, the visit goes to the nearby Yuyuan Market. The most interesting place there is a Taoist temple from the Ming Dynasty period called the City God Temple. The festivities held there are considered to be the festivities of all of the Shanghai people. After this short visit the tour goes to the Shanghai Exhibition Hall of Urban Planning. This place looks like a leap in to the future of the city. On the second floor there is a gigantic model of the city’s future look and it is something that you simply have to see. Also, there are various other interactive exhibitions there. The next stop is one of the tallest buildings in the world. The Shanghai World Financial Centre is a skyscraper that goes 429.3 metres in height and it is really something breathtaking. It consists of various offices, observation points, hotel part and various other facilities. The things continue in a high pace and the next stop is The Bund. It is consisted of various European style buildings and there are various very interesting high end shops and entertaining facilities that offer some memorable time around the clock. The day ends with the lunch at local Restaurant. This place is offering some incredibly popular and high quality local dishes and having a lunch there will be a great gastronomic experience. Day3

Shanghai to Hangzhou by Train.

The day starts with the travel to the Hangzhou. It is organized by train and quite interesting. Once when you get there, the real activities start. The first one is the Ancient Village Wuzhen. This very old village is very interesting since the architecture is very old and it is placed almost on water and completely surrounded by the Dong Shi River and one of its tributaries. After looking around there is a short cruise through the Wu Zhen predicted. It is organized in traditional wooden boasts that are the same as those used centuries ago. The whole place is completely intact by the modern era and it is a chance to see the ancient china to the fullest. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Shanghai

Wuzhen ancient town

Wuzhen ancient town

The first thing to see today is the Lingyin Temple. It is one of the 10 most important Buddhist holy places in whole of the China and it is very well known for its great collection of various Buddhist treasures. There is also a collection of 470 carvings of the Buddhist figures there and these works all date from 10th to 14th century. After the temple, the tour continues to visit the West Lake. This lake is just a little bit out of the city and it is incredibly lovely and peaceful. It covers some 5.6 square kilometres and there is a Fairy Island in the middle of it. It will be a visit that will show you all the peace and quiet that can be imagined. The last stop of the day is the Meijiawu village. This village is all about tea and its production. The grand plantation there will be the perfect place to get familiar with the tea industry, from growing tea to cooking it. Also, there is a specialized tea shop within the plantation where you can buy some of the world’s finest teas. After the lunch in the local Restaurant, the daily itinerary is over. This is the day for the departure so after the breakfast you will be transferred to Shanghai by train in order to catch your flight home. Meals: Breakfast
