Day1

Hong Kong Arrival

Attractions:Airport/Train Station/Port to Hotel Transfer

Our guide and will meet at the airport/train station/port upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel.

This day is predicted for getting in top the Hong Kong and settling in your hotel. There are no other activities predicted. Upon the arrival you will be given a free cell phone and it will be on your disposal during the trip.

Day2

Hong Kong

The first half of this day is reserved for visiting the Kowloon. This part of the city was once quite an infamous place but nowadays the things changed completely. The first stop of this mini tour will be Wong Tai Sin Temple. It is the largest temple in the area and you will definitely enjoy the visit. After that the tour goes to the Kowloon Walled City Park where you will be able to enjoy peace, quiet and see the beauty of this place. The last mandatory site to see is the Nan Lian Garden. After this, depending on where you are staying and the city traffic, you can pick another place to visit. The second part of the day is also reserved for another mini tour. You will first visit the Victoria Peak. This is the most famous landmark of the city and you will be able to see the 112 years old cable tram there as well as the Victoria Peak Tower. After that, your guide will take you to the Aberdeen harbour where you can see something really extraordinary. Namely, this part of the city is quite populated and all of the people there are living of fishing for junk. If you wish to see it from close, you will be provided the chance to rent a sampan. The tour ends at the Repulse bay. This is quite different place than the previous stop since this is one of the most exclusive parts of Hong Kong. Meals: Breakfast

Hong Kong to Chengdu by Flight.

This day is reserved for transportation from Hong Kong to Chengdu. No other activities are predicted. Meals: Breakfast

Chengdu

Attractions:Panda Breeding and Research Center,Du Fu Thatched Cottage,Chengdu Kuan-zhai Lane

Panda Center

The first stop of the day is the Panda Research and Breeding Centre. This is a unique place in the world since it is the largest Panda breeding centre there is. It spreads over some 230 hectares and you can see both Red and Giant Pandas there together with their cubs. The next stop is Thatched Cottage of Du Fu. He is referred as the China’s greatest poet of all times and he used to live in Chengdu for 5 years. This cottage was his home during the peak of his career. He lived in 8th century. After that you will visit Kuan-zhai Lane. This is a restored and revitalized old part of the city and the buildings there look exactly as they used to look centuries ago. Still, all of the western commodities are available there. The last stop of the day is Chengdu Shu Embroidery Co. This is the place where you can see the finest Chinese embroidery and you will be also allowed to buy something in the local outlet. There is everything available from small souvenirs to large handmade pieces that are very expensive. The lunch will be served in Peter's Restaurant. This place is famous for its Mexican cuisine and you will enjoy it for certain. Meals: Breakfast and a lunch

Chengdu

Attractions:Cruise to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha,Leshan Giant Buddha

The only attraction of the day is the Leshan Giant Buddha. This is the largest sitting Buddhist stone statue in the world and it looks really impressive. You will get the chance to see it from close by visiting the site but you will also have the opportunity to see it from the far while cruising on the river. The lunch will be served in one of the Leshan local restaurants. Since the choice is limited, there will be no choice but to take the one your guide picks. Meals: Breakfast and a Lunch

Day6

Chengdu to Chongqing to Yangtze

Attractions:Board the ship from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 9:00pm.(Dinner is not included),Three Gorges Museum,Goose Neck Park

At the beginning of the day you will take the train to the Chongqing. Once you are there, the visit to the Three Gorges Museum will be organized. This place is dedicated to the history of the Yangtze River and the dam but there are also some setups that refer to the Chinese history with the accent on the war years. After that, you will get the chance to visit the Goose Neck Park. This place is very beautiful and very peaceful and it is the favourite place to many of the local people. There is also a very long painting of the Yangtze River in this park. The lunch will be served in the Yunyuan restaurant which is famous for its hot pot. After this, you will be boarding the ship that will take you to the cruise on the Yangtze River. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Day7

Yangtze

Attractions:Welcoming Banquet, Dancing Party, Shore excursion to Shibaozhai(14;00-16;00).Optinal tour to Fengdu Ghost City(RMB260 per person).

Shibaozhai, literally means Stone Treasure Fortress, Located in Zhong County, it was first built in Qing Dynasty in 1750. Shibaozhai is one historic site that will look much different in 2009. The wooden architecture stands on the riverside. It is built by catch upon a rectangular rock with sheer cliffs with a height of 56 meters and 12 stories. And every floor of the wooden structure contains interesting artifacts. Each of the 12 floors of Shibaozhai is dedicated to a famous general of the Three Kingdoms period (220-265AD), a local scholar or a renowned Chinese poet.This is the first day of your cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy view from the boat and there is also a shore excursion to Shibaozhai predicted. Shibaozhai is a very beautiful structure erected on a cliff and it was built in 1750. Still, nowadays it looks rather different from the original. It has 12 levels and each of them is dedicated to a scholar, a poet or a great general of the Three Kingdoms Period. There is also an option of visiting the Fengdu Ghost City, but it is not mandatory and if you decide to see this place it will cost you additional RMB 260. There will be also a welcoming banquet arranged on the ship, as well as the dancing party. Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch and a Chinese Dinner

Yangtze

Attractions:Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm), Crew's Performance

Passes through the 1st gorge--Qutang Gorge. Passes through the 2cd gorge---Wu Gorge. Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm). You have the option of visiting White Emperor City(RMB260 per person). Crew's Performance. Sails through the 5-steps Ship locks. Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formationsAfter passing through two of the great gorges, you will have the chance to stretch your legs by visiting the Shennong Stream. This is one of the lesser tributaries to the Yangtze River and it is a very lovely and unspoiled place. This shore excursion will also give you a chance to see the unspoiled nature, as well as some remnants of the old paving. Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch and a Chinese Dinner

Yichang to Departure City

Attractions:Three Gorges Dam Site,Hotel to Airport/Train Station/Port Transfer

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm. Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction has been completed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.

You will be transferred to the airport/train station/port by our private car/van.

This is the last day of your cruise and of this trip. The only scenic spot is the Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest dam in the world and a very look upon it is something that raises awe with the beholder. You will be more than impressed once you lay foot on it. It was built from 1994 to 2003 but it became fully operational in 2009. There will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures on the top level of the dam. After this you will be transferred to the Yichang airport to catch a flight back home. Meals: Breakfast
