This day you will get to enjoy some of the nicest sites in Hong Kong during a half day orientation drive. The first stop will be Victoria Peak and its Victoria Tower. This is maybe the most recognizable part of the city for most of the tourists. As a special curiosity you will get to see the 112 years old tram that is still operating there. The next stop will be Aberdeen Harbour and this place is quite interesting. There are a lot of people living there and the main source of income for them is fishing. You can also additionally rent a sampan but it will cost you some $10 to $12. After that you will be going to the completely different part of the city. The Repulse Bay is one of the most exclusive places in the city and it looks really great with its neat beaches and expensive buildings. If nothing else, this tour will give you a chance to see this rare contrast in lifestyles.

Hong Kong to Guilin by Flight.

This day is predicted for travelling to the city of Guilin. No other activities arte predicted.

The day starts with a cruise on the Li River which provides some truly memorable sites along the way. You will get to see unspoiled nature, lots of animals, and if you are extremely lucky, maybe even local fishermen in their small bamboo rafts. The experience will be more than pleasing and relaxing. The final destination of this cruise is the city of Yangshuo. There you will be provided with an opportunity to take a bicycle ride through the magic countryside and it will be more than pleasing experience since this place is incredibly beautiful. After that you will be provided with an opportunity to visit a local family and see how their life really looks like. Meals: Breakfast

Day5

Guilin to Chongqing by Flight.

During this day you will get to see some of the most interesting sites of nature in Guilin. The first one will be the Elephant Trunk Hill. This hill really looks like an elephant drinking water from the Lee River and for many years it was the best known attraction of Guilin. After that the tour goes to the spectacular Reed Flute Cave. This is the biggest cave in the vicinity and all sorts of the cave jewellery can be seen inside. Be careful when you get inside since the light is not the best possible and the floor can be slippery. Finally, for the end of a daily tour you will get to see the Folded Brocade Hill. This hill looks quite interesting since the lava sediments made it look like layers of folded silk and there are many things that can be seen there. Amongst them the Yuyue loft, Diecai pavilion, Diecai tower and Wind cave are the most interesting. The lunch will be served at the McFound Restaurant. After that you will be transferred to the city of Chongqing. Meals: Breakfast and a Lunch.

Yangtze

Attractions:Board the ship from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 9:00pm.(Dinner is not included),Three Gorges Museum,Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo,Goose Neck Park,Ciqikou Old Town

The city of Chongqing really has something to offer. First, you will be taken to the Three Gorges Museum. As its name says, it is mostly dedicated to the Yangtze River and the dam but there are also some artefacts from the war years to be seen there as well. The next stop is the Chongqing Zoo. This is a pretty large place that contains some of the rarest and most beautiful animals. Still, the stars of the show are Giant and Red Pandas together with their adorable cubs. After that, you will get to visit the Goose Neck Park. This place is more than interesting in many ways since there is a long picture of the Yangtze River in it and many of the local people can be seen there resting and relaxing. Finally, the last stop prior to boarding on your ship is Ciqikou Old Town. This is a lively and busy place that looks exactly the same as it looked centuries ago. It is partially restored and there are many shopping opportunities there. The lunch will be served at the Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant. After that you will be board the ship that will take you to the cruise on the Yangtze River. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Attractions:Welcoming Banquet, Dancing Party,Shibaozhai (14;00-16;00).Optinal tour to Fengdu Ghost City(RMB260 per person).

Shibaozhai, literally means Stone Treasure Fortress, Located in Zhong County, it was first built in Qing Dynasty in 1750. Shibaozhai is one historic site that will look much different in 2009. The wooden architecture stands on the riverside. It is built by catch upon a rectangular rock with sheer cliffs with a height of 56 meters and 12 stories. And every floor of the wooden structure contains interesting artifacts. Each of the 12 floors of Shibaozhai is dedicated to a famous general of the Three Kingdoms period (220-265AD), a local scholar or a renowned Chinese poet.During this day you will be able to enjoy the beautiful sceneries along the river and there will be a shore excursion to Shibaozhai organised as well. Shibaozhai is a fort on a high cliff and it is really something special. First built in 1750 nowadays it looks quite differently. It has 12 stores and each of them is dedicated to a famous poet, a scholar or a great general of the Three Kingdoms Period. Meals: Breakfast and a Dinner

Yangtze

Attractions:Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream (1:30pm-5:30pm), Crew's Performance

Taichi exercise. Passes through the 1st gorge--Qutang Gorge. Passes through the 2cd gorge---Wu Gorge. Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm). You have the option of visiting White Emperor City(RMB260 per person). Crew's Performance. Sails through the 5-steps Ship locks. Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations This day will be marked by a marvellous view of two great gorges you will be passing through. They are more than impressive and beautiful and they will allow you to see some of the spectacular things during the day. There is also a shore excursion to Shennong Stream predicted. This small tributary to the great river is always very relaxing site and stretching your legs a bit will also do you good. A crew’s performance is also predicted on this day. Yichang to Wuhan

Attractions:Three Gorges Dam Site.

Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm. Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction has been completed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities. This is the day when the cruise ends and you will get to see The Three Gorges Dam after you disembark. This dam is over 2000 metres long and it is the largest dam in the entire world. Its construction took 9 years from 1994 to 2003 and additional 6 years were needed to make it fully operational back in 2009. You will be allowed to walk on it and to take some pictures for memory. After that the bus will take you to the Wuhan.

Wuhan to Hong Kong
