7-Day Guilin Scenery and Yangtze River Cruise Escape

Day 1

Place & Transport: Entrance City to Guilin, Flight not included

Detailed Itinerary: Our guide will meet you with outside the customs of Beijing Capital Airport and then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and explore.

Our guide will give you your free CH cell phone which will make communication with you family and friends easy. The package includes free rental for the cell phone and SIM card and at least 30 free talk time. Please return the phone to the guide when you depart.

Day 2

Place & Transport: Guilin

Today's Activities: Li River Cruise

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

Detailed Itinerary: Start your memorable Guilin tour by taking a Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The 83-kilometer-long (52-mile-long) winding Li River reveals itself as a long picture scroll with stunning scenery around every corner.

The cruise arrives at the terminal in Yangshuo after lunch and you have the change to explore Yangshuo by yourself. Then return to Guilin by our private car.

Day 3

Place & Transport: Guilin to Chongqing,

Today's Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Folded Brocade Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill, Calligraphy & Painting shop (Guangxi Normal University Art Shop), ,

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

Detailed Itinerary: Today, you will first visit the symbol of Guilin city – Elephant Trunk Hill which is a huge rock which looks like an elephant drinking water at the riverside. Then we transfer to Folded Brocade Hill which is famous for its smooth path for climbing and beautiful view of Li River. Lunch is at a great local restaurant. The Reed Flute Cave is a highlight of the tour today. Reed Flute Cave boasts many Karst formations in the shape of stone columns, stalactites and stalagmites with each presents unique shapes enhanced by colored lights. Then transfer to the airport to board on the flight to Chongqing, where your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 4

Place & Transport: Chongqing to Yangtze

Today's Activities: Goose Neck Park, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo, Ciqikou Old Town, , Board the ship from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and departs Chongqing at 9:00pm.(Dinner is not included)

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

Detailed Itinerary: Today is a full day city tour of Chongqing to visit the Panda Room at Chongqing Zoo to see the giant pandas and the baby pandas. Then visit a local park - Goose Neck Park where locals spend their spare time playing mahjong, cards or singing and dancing. Lunch is at a great local restaurant.

In the afternoon, experience Chongqing old lifestyle by visiting Ciqikou Old Town which is an ancient village with many teashops, outlets for craftwork and groceries. It is a the Ming and Qing dynasty style street.

Then our guide will transfer you to the cruise pier to board the ship.

Day 5

Place & Transport: Yangtze

Today's Activities: Welcoming Banquet, Dancing Party, Shore excursion to Shibaozhai(14;00-16;00).Optinal tour to Fengdu Ghost City(RMB260 per person).

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner

Detailed Itinerary: Today, the ship will disembark at Fengdu. Go ashore to “the city of ghosts” which is with its eerie temples and ghostly depictions. Captain’s welcome party and dinner is served tonight.

Day 6

Place & Transport: Yangtze

Today's Activities: Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream(1:30pm-5:30pm), Crew's Performance

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner

Detailed Itinerary: Today you will experience perhaps the most memorable part of your Yangtze Cruise tour. The ship will sail through Qutang Gorge which is the grandest and most dangerous section of the river with steep precipices on both sides. Later, you will pass through Wu Gorge which is famous for its depth, serenity and many bends. Go ashore to visit the Shennong Stream when the ship sails between Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge. This is an interesting junk adventure drifting along the winding stream for three to four hours.

Aboard the ship again and Crew's Performance will be held tonight.

Day 7

Place & Transport: Yangtze to Yichang to Departure City, Flight not included

Today's Activities: , , Three Gorges Dam Site

Meals: Breakfast

Detailed Itinerary: Today, your Yangtze River cruise will end with an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam which is the world's largest hydropower project. The ship disembarks in Yichang and our local guide will transfer you to Yichang airport so that you can board your flight.
