Day1

Shanghai Arrival

Day2

Attractions:The Shanghai World Financial Center,Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall,Yuyuan Garden,The Bund

The first stop of the day is a place dedicated to development of Shanghai. Urban Planning Exhibition Hall of Shanghai contains a vision of the future city and it really looks impressive and a bit different than any other thing you will be able to see during this tour. The whole 2nd floor is reserved for a scale model of the future city core and you can have a peek in to the future of this city. The Shanghai World Financial Centre is the second stop of the day and it will be really something special since this is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It has a mixed purpose so you will be able to see various parts of it. Still, the most impressive thing about it is the observation platform that is the tallest in the world. Yuyuan Garden is the next site to see and it is a classic Chinese garden with all of the features that can be found there. It is also near to the Yuyuan Market and that place is just perfect for shopping for souvenirs and tasting local snacks. The last attraction of the day is The Bund. This is the former centre of the city business and all of the buildings there are made in Western style so it pretty much differs from what could be expected in China. After the Shanghai started to develop swiftly, this part of the city lost its primary purpose and now it is a home for many exclusive shops. The lunch will be served at the Xin Lv Bo Lang Restaurant which is definitely one of the best in the city. It hosted over 40 country presidents and that tells a lot. Day3

Shanghai to Xian by Flight.

This is the day when you will travel from Shanghai to Xian and after you have settled in the hotel you will go to see the Xian City Wall. This is the best preserved medieval defensive city wall in all of the China and it looks rather impressive. The style is quite different from the western style of making fortifications and there will be a lot to see. The special curiosity is that the tour will be taken by bicycle and you will get to see all of this marvellous 13 kilometres long structure. If the weather is too bad for such endeavour this will be substituted with a visit to the Bell Tower. The lunch will be served at the Yue Zhen Xuan Restaurant which is famous for its seafood and Cantonese dishes. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

The famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses have been found by accident in 1974 and this collection is definitely unique in every single aspect. The discovery has been made in Emperor Quin’s tomb and there are some 7000 warriors, battle chariots and horses which are all completely unique and it is simply incredible that the collection like this was ever made. The excavations are still in progress and the whole site is placed under the hangars that protect it from the atmospheric influences. It is a good idea to wear comfortable walking shoes during this visit. The next stop is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This pagoda is a marvellous structure built in the 7th century to honour the Xuanzang and his journey to India. Many artefacts from that journey are still kept in this pagoda. The lunch will be served in the A Wa Shan Zhai Restaurant which is pretty famous for its Hunan and Sichuan dishes. Meals: Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Xian to Beijing by Flight.

The first part of the day is reserved for travelling to the city of Beijing while the second part will allow you to see some of the Chinese Capital. The Hutong in Xicheng District is a pretty fascinating place. It is a labyrinth of old streets and alleyways made in the traditional Chinese style and it looks like the time has stopped there. It will be something really special to visit this part of the city and you will also ge4t a chance to visit one of the families living there. The only attraction of this day is the Great Wall. It is one of the most distinctive landmarks of China and there is hardly a man that hasn’t seen it or heard of it. The specific section that you will be visiting is called The Mutianyu Great Wall and it is less crowded than most of the available spots. It is certain that you will enjoy this trip since the transportation there and back is provided by a cable car. Still, it is a good idea to bring some water with you and wear comfortable shoes. The lunch will be served at the Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant. They are specialized in preparing various fish and you will like it a lot. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

The first stop of the day is the famous Temple of Heaven. It is one of the largest temple complexes in all of the China ands it was an imperial sacred place since the emperors were coming there to pray for the good harvest. It was built in 1420 and it is one of the most beautiful religious structures in the country. After that the tour goes to the largest city square in the world. The Tiananmen Square is also very beautiful and allows you to see some really impressive things. It is also important for the Chinese history since some very important things have happened there during long years of its existence. The final stop of the day is the Forbidden City. It is the best preserved imperial residential complex in the world and it was a home to 24 Chinese emperors from 1368 until 1911. It was a restricted area for all that time but now it is one of the most impressive touristic attractions in China. The lunch will be served at the Traditional Mongolian Restaurant. This is a bit different but definitely very tasty and exciting gourmand experience. Meals: Breakfast and a lunch
