Day1

Hong Kong Arrival

Attractions:Airport/Train Station/Port to Hotel Transfer

Our guide and will meet at the airport/train station/port upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel.

This day is predicted for coming in to the city of Hong Kong. You will be met by the guide on the airport and taken to your hotel. No other activities are predicted.

Day2

Hong Kong

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel. First stop is Victoria Peak which features the 112 year old Peak Tram. It is regarded as Hong Kong's most unusual building, The Peak Tower. Next stop is Aberdeen Harbor which is home to hundreds of people living on fishing junks. If you would like close up look at this unusual way of life, you can take a sampan ride (US$10-12). Last one is Repulse Bay. It is one of Hong Kong's most exclusive residential areas.

Day3

Hong Kong to Guilin by Flight.

Upon your arrival, our guide will pick you up at the arrival hall of the airport with holding your name sign. Our guide and driver will take you to your hotel in Guilin. The guide will hand you a free CH cell phone package which includes free rental for the cell phone and SIM card and at least 30 free minutes, delivery and collection in China. Return the phone to your guide when you depart. Dinner is not included. Our guide can give you suggestions.

Guilin

Attractions:Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.

Li River

One day tour from Guilin to Yangshu by take Li River cruise. After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel. Driving from hotel to the pier needs about 40 minutes. Our guide will accompany you on the boat. Li River presents one of the finest excursions on your tour of China. The journey downstream to Yangshuo offers 70km of breathtaking scenery.

Day5

Guilin to Chongqing by Flight.

Attractions:Reed Flute Cave,Fubo Hill,Elephant Trunk Hill,Seven Star Park (including the panda house)

Stairway at Reed Flute Cave

This day is reserved for seeing some of the most interesting Guilin scenic spots and it is certain that you will enjoy it a lot. The first stop of the day is the Reed Flute Cave. This is the biggest cave in Guilin and it looks rather impressive. There are all sorts of the cave attractions that can be seen there. Be sure to watch your steps since these places can be slippery sometimes. The next stop is even more interesting and it was long considered to be the major landmark of the city. Namely, the Elephant Trunk Hill looks exactly as an elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk and it is certainly an unusual site to see. The Fubo Hill is your next stop and this place is famous for its stone carvings made during the Tang and Song Dynasties. It gives a glimpse on how ancient this place really is. After the lunch break, the tour will go to the Seven Star Park. This is a marvellous place where you can see a lot of various animals and some truly memorable scenery like the local stone forest. It is a place where peace and quiet rule and you will feel much relaxed after this tour. After all of this is done you will be transferred to Chongqing by plane. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Attractions:Board the ship from 17:30 to 21:30 for overnight accomodation(Dinner is not included).,Dazu Grottoes (Baodingshan)

Dazu Rock Carvings

This day is reserved for visiting the famous Dazu Grottoes. These grottoes contain over 50 thousand statues and they really look impressive. Since there are so much of them, it is not very likely that you will manage to see them all but the experience will be something really special. After this visit, you will be boarding the ship that will take you to the Yangtze River cruise. The dinner is not included so it is a good idea to buy some snacks before boarding the ship. Attractions:Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City 09:00-12:00.

Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.This is the first day of the cruise and besides the natural beauties that can be seen from the ship, you will be taken to see the Fengdu Ghost City. This is one of the spookiest places on earth and visiting it will be quite interesting. Fengdu is the place where wicked men go after they die and it is basically a ghost city with no inhabitants whatsoever. There is a dancing party and a welcoming banquet predicted on the ship as well. Yangtze

Attractions:Shore excursion to Lesser Three Gorges 12:30-16:30.You have the option of visiting White Emperor City(RMB260 per person)8:00-10:30.

The Lesser Three Gorges are the three separate valleys of the Daning River: Dragon Gate Gorge, Misty Gorge and Emerald Gorge. These lie on the lower reaches of the Daning, which flows into the Yangtze. The gorges are truly spectacular. Sheer cliffs soar up towards the sky from the brown-green water. Mountain tops hover above the ribbon of mist, disconnected from their roots. Its "subtle mountains, clear waters, pretty rocks, dangerous rapids, sharp turns, fantastic caves, and stalactites in various shapes" create the timeless beauty that you see in Chinese landscape paintings. Monkeys, mandarin ducks and other water birds can be seen loitering on big boulders in this area. In addition to the wonderful natural scenery there are a number of historical places of interest along the way, such as a suspended coffin, boat coffin, and remains of ancient plank walkway. -Also known as the White Emperor City, Baidi City clings to the hills and cliffs of a peninsular jutting out into the river. It is a miniature city of temples and gates on Baidi Hill. The city is well known as "the Poet’s City", because it has been visited by many scholars in the past, who have left many literary relics. It is also known for two famous legends, "The Seven Hundred Connected Barracks were Burned", and "The Orphan who put Trust in Baidi City".During this second day of the cruise you will pass through two of the great gorges and the sceneries you will be able to see there are simply breathtaking. Additionally, there is a visit to the Shennong Stream predicted as well. This is one of the small tributaries to the Yangtze River and it is quite a nice place to see. It also gives you the opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy some unspoiled nature. Later on, the crew’s performance will be organized on the ship. Meals: Breakfast and a Dinner

Yichang to Shanghai

Attractions:Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at noon--12:00pm.

Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction has been completed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.The Three Gorges Dam is the largest dam in the world and Chinese people are rightfully very proud of it. It was built from 1994 to 2003 but it became fully operational in 2009. You will be allowed to access the upper level and take some pictures on this marvellous structure. After this you will be transferred to the airport where you will catch your flight to Shanghai.

Yuyuan Garden

Shanghai is one of the most beautiful and most prosperous cities in China and you will get to see some really amazing things here. The first one is the Shanghai Museum. This place has over 100 thousand of various significant historic artefacts and you will get to see a lot of them there. The next stop is the Yuyuan Garden. This is a classic Chinese garden that has all the elements that make these places so special. Besides that, it is just next to the Yuyuan Market and this place offers some really neat chances for shopping since there are various souvenirs and local snacks available. After that there is a visit to The Bund predicted. This is a quite different part of the Shanghai since all of the buildings are made in the European style. It was once the main artery of commerce in the city and nowadays it is refreshed by some exclusive stores. Jiangnan Workshop and Silk Shop is also the place to visit and there you can see the whole process of making the silk from the cocoon to the finished product. You can also buy something there and the silk they offer is of the top quality. Urban Planning Exhibition Hall of Shanghai is also on a daily agenda and it offers an insight in to the future of the city. The whole 2nd level of the building is reserved for a scale model of the future city core. The last stop of the day is one of the tallest buildings in the world. The World Financial Centre is a mixed purpose skyscraper and it has the tallest observation platform in the world. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Shanghai to Beijing by Flight.

After the morning flight from Shanghai to Beijing, you will get to visit the Summer Palace. This is the place where Chinese Emperors were using for rest and relaxation and it doesn’t fall back behind the Forbidden City in terms of beauty and comfort. Tian'anmen Square

The first stop of this day is one of the most famous squares in the world. The Tiananmen Square, which literally means The Square of Heavenly Peace, is the place where many important things in Chinese history have happened. it offers various interesting sites to see and it is also the entrance to the Forbidden palace. The Forbidden City was a home to 24 of the Chinese emperors during 500 years. It is one of the architectural masterpieces of the old world and even today it invokes awe in visitors. During the imperial period it was forbidden place where only the emperor and his servants and closest associates were allowed to enter. The final stop of the day is the Hutong. This part of Beijing will show you how really Chinese people live and you will have the chance to visit a local family and to experience ride on the rickshaw. Finally, you will get to visit the Lizexiang Pearl Store. This place offers some of the famous Chinese pearls and you may also shop when you are here, but that is not mandatory. Attractions:The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car),Temple of Heaven

Temple of Heaven

This day is reserved for visiting The Great Wall. This is one of the wonders of the old world and that says a lot. It is the largest defensive wall ever built and you will have the chance to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. This section is not so crowded and it provides a great look over the area. The transportation is predicted with the cable car, although you can take a walk to the lift chair and descend this way. Still, there is about an hour of walk to there so it is wise to wear comfortable shoes and to bring some water with you. After the Great Wall, there is a visit to The Temple of Heaven predicted. This place is 4 times bigger than the Forbidden Palace and it was used as the place where the emperors were praying for the good harvest. It looks rather impressive and you will have something to see there. Meals: Breakfast and a Chinese Lunch

Absolutely. Your company will be at the top of our list for recommendations. I do have to add that both our driver and our guide treated us like family. They constantly made sure we were comfortable and really paid attention to what we needed. The very first day we met Jack, we realized we left our camera on the plane during our flight from Hong Kong to Beijing. Jack went out of his way to go get the camera from the airport - that's going completely above and beyond his duties but he did it anyway. It was amazing, and we are truly thankful to him. I really enjoyed all of the shore excursions on the trip, but I think the Shibaozhai Red pagoda was my favorite. Our guide was exceptionally good. Her English was excellent and she provided lots of information on the town as well as the Pagoda's history. The Pagoda and the views from it were really beautiful.

Our only suggestion would be to book transportation from the dock to the airport in Yichang ahead of time. We did not have transportation arranged and although we were able to get a taxi, it would have been much easier if we had booked something earlier....less stress for us. Getting to the dock in Changqing was no problem.

One of the best parts of our experience was the chance to get to know our guides. They each brought their own insights and we really enjoyed getting to know each one. I was very impressed with the knowledge of each of them. The continuous exchange of information about our two cultures was incredibly interesting. This kind of interchange could only happen on a private tour.
