Day1

Chengdu Arrival

Attractions:Airport/Train Station/Port to Hotel Transfer

Our guide and will meet at the airport/train station/port upon your arrival and transfer you to your hotel.

The day is reserved for getting settled. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is included.

Day2

Chengdu

Attractions:Panda Breeding and Research Center,Chengdu People's Park,Chengdu Kuan-zhai Lane

Panda Center

The first stop of the day is a thatched Cottage of Du Fu who is considered to be the China’s greatest poet of all times. This complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens and 1.5 hours spent there will be filled with serenity and beauty. The Panda Breeding and Research Centre is the next stop and there you can see giant and Red pandas as well as many other endangered species. This place is unique in the world and since the centre is quite huge it allows some nice walks that will be more than relaxing. The panda Museum is also included in this complex and you will be getting some of the really rare information there. Predicted time for the visit is 2.5 hours. The last stop is the famous Wu Hou Temple. It is dedicated to the famous military expert Marquis of Wu. He was one of the central figures of the famous “Poem of Three kingdoms”. The temple is consisted of few grand halls and lively parks surrounding it. Also the tomb of the Liu Bei, the emperor of that period from the Tang Dynasty is included in the complex. The daily itinerary ends with the Chinese lunch at the Sanguyuan Restaurant which is famous for its original cuisine and the dishes named and originated from the Three Kingdoms period. Meals: Breakfast at your hotel, a Chinese lunch at Sanguyuan Restaurant.

Day3

Zigong

Attractions:Leshan Giant Buddha,Cruise to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha

Leshan Giant Buddha is the biggest statue of Buddha in the world. It is placed on the mountain overlooking the conjunction of three rivers. The daily tour begins with the trip to Leshan and includes visit to the statue as well as the cruise that allows you to see the statue from the water. The day ends in the Leshan Local Restaurant where you will be served the seasonal dishes previously arranged by your tour guide. The sightseeing includes a 2 hour long visit to the statue and the 40 minutes of cruise. Meals: Breakfast at your hotel, the seasonal Chinese lunch at the Leshan Local Restaurant

Dazu

Attractions:Zigong Dinosaur Museum,Historical Museum of the Salt Industry

Zigong Dinosaur Museum

Zigong Dinosaur Museum is a pretty unique place since it contains some really impressive dinosaur fossils and it is considered to be one of the three best dinosaur museums in the world. Also, it has been listed as one of top 40 attractions in China and it is definitely a special place that offers a lot to see. Historical Museum of the Salt Industry is the next stop and it is a unique place in the world. Namely, the Chinese salt industry is pretty famous in the world and this museum traces it all the way back to its beginning in the times long passed. The predicted time for visit to the museum is 1.5 hours. The daily tour ends with the lunch in the Zigong Local Restaurant. Meals: Breakfast at your hotel, and a Chinese lunch in Zigong Local Restaurant

Day5

Chongqing

Attractions:Dazu Grottoes (Baodingshan)

Dazu Rock Carvings

Dazu Grottoes are famous for their statues. These statues were mostly made during the Tang and Qing Dynasty and that means that they are pretty different in age. The uniqueness of the place is obvious and for 2 hours of the tour you will be seeing some really fine specimens scattered all over the place. The bulk of the statues are in the Baoding. After that you will be provided with the cab to give you a tour through the city of Dazu. Meals: Breakfast at your hotel, and a Chinese lunch at Dazu.

Day6

Chongqing Departure

Attractions:Hotel to Airport/Train Station/Port Transfer,Goose Neck Park,Ciqikou Old Town,Three Gorges Museum

Three Gorges Museum

You will be transferred to the airport/train station/port by our private car/van.

The day starts with the visit to Goose Neck Park. This place is very popular amongst the local folk and many of them can be seen there playing Mah-jong or simply relaxing. The place is really peaceful and it is also pretty famous for its long painting of Yangtze River. After that, there is a visit to Ciqikou Old Town predicted and this very old and partially restored part of the town is really impressive. You can try some of the popular local snacks and enjoy the old wooden houses and narrow streets. The last attraction of the day is a famous Three Gorges Museum which contains some of the most impressive items from the area. The exhibitions that can be seen inside include some really intere4sting terracotta figures and various items from all periods of Chinese history. The day and the visit to China ends in the Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant where you will be served a Chinese lunch. Meals: Breakfast and a lunch at Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant

Auch besonders erwähnen möchte ich die Hilfestellung, die Lissy uns angedeihen ließ. Ein von uns im Flugzeug vergessenes I-Pad wurde wiederbeschafft. Wir haben schon gar nicht mehr daran geglaubt. Auch hierfür nochmals ein herzliches " Danke schön ".
